Celebration of Champions Gala Honoring Dr. Temple Grandin
What a night at the Sensory Processing Disorder Foundation's Celebration of Champions honoring Temple Grandin's lifetime achievements and bringing much needed awareness to this condition. The evening was hosted at The Studios at Overland Crossing, and what a beautiful venue for our event. An emotional and moving keynote address by Dr. Grandin had the entire room engrossed from her very first word. Guests enjoyed a silent auction, a meet and greet opportunity with Ms. Grandin and book signing courtesy of The Tattered Cover Bookstore, exquisite action food stations by Footers Catering, bar services by Peak Beverage, and beautiful floral and table decor by Bella Lu Floral. A very special thanks to Artistry Events & Design, LLC for bringing to life our vision - our theme was opening doors thanks to the inspiration from Ms. Grandin's life as portrayed by the HBO movie Temple Grandin. AED did a spectacular job handling all of the stunning draping, lighting, stage decor, gorgeous lounge rentals and all of the audio visual components of our evening with ease. Our incredible stage decor and event lighting allowed our keynote speaker to make a very grand and very impactful entrance to our live program. Emceed by local meteorologist celebrity Mike Nelson, the evening finished with an awesome live auction led by auctiontaineer, Letitia Frye - be careful walking into a room with this lady on the mic and a checkbook - you'll be parting with some cash! The evening was captured by the ever talented Greg Muntz of Liefde Photography and Muntz Studios and videos courtesy of Revolve Pictures and Dillon Mortensen. All in all, a wonderful evening we at Total Imagination Eventscouldn't be prouder to have planned and designed this spectacular event alongside the phenomenal, dedicated events committee.
